I am sure many of us search for the concerns of small blemishes, brown spots on our face and what is the reason they appear. These spots caused on the skin is called hyper-pigmentation. I tried a face mask back in 2010 and it worked wonders for moles and blemishes. I am reviving  my hyper-pigmentation face mask again and sharing the secret recipe here.

Why Hyper-pigmentation happens:
Hyper-pigmentation can happen for many reasons including Sun Damage, UVA damage, Pregnancy, Hormonal changes, Ageing etc.

How to treat Hyper-pigmentation
You need to see a dermatologist to address the root cause properly.
You can also try our effective Home made  Hyper-pigmentation face mask (recipe below) which stops new spots from coming and fades the existing spots.
What do you need
Red Lentils, Sour Milk, Cardamom, Licorice Root (Mulethi), Cinnamon

 

How to make: 
  1. Soak red lentils (1tbsp), one Cardamom, half-inch cinnamon bark, half-inch licorice root  in milk overnight. Do not refrigerate. Let milk release the bacteria.
  2. Grid all the ingredients together in blender, next morning. You will get an amazing smelling pink paste.
  3. Apply it liberally all over your pigmented spots or entire face. Keep it on until it dries out usually 20-25 minutes.
  4. Store it in refrigerator for next 3-4 days.

 

Uses And Benefits:
  • You can apply this mask everyday or once every two days. Once you make the mask, you can store 3 portions and use for 3 days. Three times is enough for a week.
  • You may notice results within 2-3 weeks. You can still continue do this mask every week 3 times for next 2-3 months for better results.
  • One thing that is sure, you will not get any new marks. Additionally it also works excellently to tighten your pores.
